Custom soft goods. Made for the trade.

Trade pricing. Approved trade accounts receive trade pricing on cushions ordered through the online designer, applied automatically at checkout while logged in. Private-label runs, large quantities and items not in the designer are quoted separately. Trade pricing is for resale or use in client projects and may not be shared or advertised.

Terms of payment. Orders placed through the website are paid in full at checkout. Quoted and private-label orders require a 50% deposit before cutting and the balance before shipping unless other terms are agreed in writing.

Production and lead time. Every cushion is sewn to order in Montevallo, Alabama. A person reviews each order and emails a confirmation drawing within 2 business days; nothing is cut until the drawing is approved. Standard lead time is 2–4 weeks from approval. Large runs are scheduled when the deposit is received.

Measurements and fit. You are responsible for the measurements you submit. Cushions sewn to the confirmed drawing that still do not fit the furniture will be remade at no charge on receipt of a photo. Odd shapes require the old cushion or a paper pattern; a flat $25 template fee per shape applies.

Fabrics. Sunbrella fabrics carry the manufacturer's 5-year warranty against fading and loss of strength; normal wear, cuts and improper cleaning are excluded. Colors on screen are approximate; samples are available on request. Customer's own material is used at the customer's risk for flaws and yield.

Cancellations and changes. Orders may be cancelled or changed free of charge until the confirmation drawing is approved. After approval, fabric already cut is billed at cost; after sewing has begun, the order is non-cancellable.

Shipping and claims. Orders ship from Montevallo, AL by ground carrier; freight is billed at checkout or on the quote. Please inspect shipments on arrival and report damage or shortages within 5 business days with photos.

Returns. Because every piece is custom-made, cushions are not returnable except for workmanship defects or our error, which we will remake or repair.

Private label. Private-label tags, labels and packaging are produced to the customer's artwork; the customer warrants it holds the rights to that artwork.

Account status. Southern Sewing may approve, decline or close a trade account at its discretion and may request updated resale documentation.
